Strawberry Tart

I am lucky enough to have a domestic goddess boyfriend! Since moving to NZ we have been getting into doing looks of baking in our first little flat together (living the wild life). Charlie made a GORGEOUS strawberry pie the other day, which I have spent the last couple of days happily consuming.

If you think this looks as delicious as I did, here is the recipe we used: To make the short-crust pastry we used this recipe. However, instead of using salt as the recipe suggests we instead added 1 tbs of caster sugar. (This alternative recipe is listed on the notes for the recipe)

For the filling we used this recipe. However we changed the cherries for tinned strawberries. Enjoy :)
